first let me start I bought this because they were having a $10 off promotion. I am glad I did. I have used this oil in many ways.
1. make up remover, just a dab over my eyes and I take a wet baby wipe (sensative skin) and takes waterproof makeup off, and no sting!!
2. facial moisturizer, after i use it on my body whatever is left on my hands I pat on my face. it is not heavy so it absorbs fast.I also put it on my lips.
3. shaving oil, as soon as i get out the shower put some almond oil and I shave, like I said this is not a heavy oil so it glides light on skin makes shaving a breeze and leaves my skin soft.
4. body oil. I leave it in she shower so as soon as I get out I put it all over. It really absorbs quick and leaves your skin soft.my girls have ashy skin because of all the sun and chlorine ( we live in FL so it is pretty much summer all year round.) also when it does get cold their skin chaps. this has softened their skin considerably. the best method of application is when your skin is humid.
I was a coconut oil user and this is better. I love coconut oil but it was heavy and it did take a while for my skin to absorb and plus it would get hard if it got to cold.

I live in central FL so my girls skin is pretty ashy due to the beach and all the chlorine in pools and water parks. this oil will not heal over night, it will take at least 2 weeks of daily constant use. I apply straight out the shower on damp skin.

I am a big user of lotions and use them every day. I have tried other oils in the past but they never seemed to absorb into the skin and always seemed to get on my clothing. After seeing some of the reviews I decided to give oils another try and I am so glad I did. I can’t say enough about this oil after just a few days of using this my dry heels are soft and the rest of my body is super soft and almost always has a glow to it with no greasy left overs !!!! I have also tried on my hair (I have very curly but dry hair) I straighten it quite often and have to use creams and oils so I don’t damage my hair anymore. It seemed to work ok on the hair but you have to be very cautious not to use too much or you will get the greasy look. The only thing I wish this oil had was a scent of some sort but of course then I would have to worry whether or not I would like the smell. So on second thought this product is perfect !!!!!

I have already gone through a bottle and a half and I have noticed that his oil works great on dry feet you do have to make sure it is rubbed in well and then put socks on right away. As far as using it on the rest of the body I do But I have gone back to putting body butter on after the oil because I noticed that I was getting some dry spots on my arms and legs even after using oil. I still use this oil daily on my feet and have noticed a huge difference. They are soft and sandal ready!!!!! Even though I am having to use body butter with this oil now I would still put it at 4.5-5 stars because it does make your skin look really hydrated, soft and glowing

Before finding Lux Organic Sweet Almond Oil, I shied away from almond oil because I had trouble consistently sourcing high quality, pure, organic almond oil. Lux changed that – I can tell that the quality of the oil is top notch and has NOT been adulterated with other cheaper oils or preservatives.
Sweet Almond Oil is a wonderful moisturizer for all skin types – it is light yet powerful and absorbs quickly. The convenient pump on the Lux bottle makes it easy to dispense and apply. It makes a great essential oil carrier oil for aromatherapy and aromatic medicine uses. For lotions, body butters, and salves, it blends great with other carrier oils, ‘booster’ oils (like argan and rosehip), and bees wax. I’ll be adding it to my beauty recipes. As a straight up moisturizer, I much prefer almond oil to coconut oil – there’s no jar to dig into (and contaminate) and it is much more stable, meaning that it will not go rancid before you have a chance to use it all.

I was initially turned off by the slightly cheesy package design (I know, I know, don’t judge a book…) and the fact that it is slightly more expensive than other almond oils I have tried. I LOVE that it comes with a pump, somehow I didn’t realize I was missing that small but awesome upgrade in my life. There is absolutely zero smell to this product, which I prefer because I like to add a drop or two of essential oil to my almond oil. Compared to other almond oils I have tried, this brand is not greasy or tacky at all- it absorbs right into my skin without “sitting” on top like other brands do. I also have super coarse and long hair, so I added just a tiny bit to my ends. It left my hair shines, not at all greasy or oily looking. Overall, I am very happy with this product.

I’ve always wanted to try Sweet Almond oil, but never got a chance to until I found Lux Skin’s organic sweet almond oil. I used it as a carrier oil for aromatherapy and it worked perfectly because of its mild scent compared to strong smelling oils like olive or coconut oil. I also have very sensitive skin, and this oil leaves no irritation on any portion of my body.
I also use this oil as carrier oil for burning. I use similar to the same ratio as my skin blends, but it does vary depending on how strong I want the essential oil scent. I have used several different types of oils, and I have to say that this is by far my favorite! It absorbs much more quickly than coconut oil and it leaves your skin super soft and with a nice glow. It is great to use right after the shower. I even use it lightly on my face, and it does not appear to clog pores. For my hair, I washed and then applied the oil and allowed it to stay on my hair overnight (I used a shower cap to prevent the oil from getting on the bedding). The next morning, I rinsed it out and my hair was super soft and shiny. This is a fantastic product and I will definitely buy it again!

It is great to use right after the shower. I even use it lightly on my face, and it does not appear to clog pores. For my hair, I washed and then applied the oil and allowed it to stay on my hair overnight (I used a shower cap to prevent the oil from getting on the bedding). I’ve been using this product for about a week and a half, so I’ll probably come back and add on to my review once I’ve had more time to test it out. It’s extremely convenient, I must say. It’s not overly greasy and it’s a great massage oil or carrier oil for essential oils. I love the pump, and I love that a little goes a long way. 8 oz will last me a long time, I think.
I had been using coconut oil to cleanse my face at night, but once I got this I started using it. It works every bit as well as coconut oil for removing makeup and I haven’t had any problems with breakouts. My skin doesn’t really look any better or worse than the coconut oil, but this is far more convenient than scooping the coconut oil out of a tub. It also doesn’t have a scent, so that’s nice. I tried using this in my hair, but even a little bit makes my hair look super oily.
My husband has been using this on his hands for an eczema flareup and he says that some days it seems to help and other days not so much. So after we’ve used it for longer I’ll edit this review to see if anything has changed. Overall I would recommend this oil, but I haven’t used another SAO so I don’t have anything else to compare it to really. I will say that the packaging is oddly generic, which doesn’t give me a ton of faith in the company. Unless this is an unbeatable price, I don’t see much reason to choose this over other organic SAO oils. Just my opinion.

I was looking for a carrier oil for my essential oils when I happened upon Lux I had not tried sweet almond oil before and was curious to see if it would work on my 50 + dry skin. It does. Not only does it smooth your skin it stays on and feels smooth over ten hours later. My fine lines are less noticeable, still there but not as noticeable. I like the fact that it is odorless and I can add scent depending on my mood or go scent free. The only issue I had with it was that in shipping, it leaked a small amount. It was tightly wrapped in plastic so it was not a complete mess but required some cleaning up after opening it. This may be due to the fact that we are enduring 100 degree days and got pressurised. Overall it is a wonderful natural skin product.

One of my all time favorites! Love this organic sweet almond oil so much! This has so many different types of use, I personally love to lather this all over my body and use it as a deep conditioning treatment overnight. I will take a mid size towel and put it in the dryer for about 10 minutes. After showering, I will put this almond oil in my hair, starting with my ends and focusing on the ends is important. I will then take the heated towel and wrap my head. I will leave this on for a good 20 minutes and then I wrap my hair with a silk tie to sleep in. The next morning I will rinse the almond oil out and style as usual. My hair becomes the silkiest that it has ever been! Again, this product goes a long way, so putting in your hair, just takes a minimal amount. The formula of this almond oil is amazing. I highly recommend this and especially that winter is on the horizon, with the heat cranked up inside your home, this will save your hair!

I don’t know if anyone else is like me, but my skin and hair seem to devour moisture and I’m always itching dead, dry skin and constantly stacked with different lotions and creams like some bag lady. When trying to pack light or even leave for work in a dash, it’s simply not possible if I wanna look my best. I have eczema and it’s very dry and painful skin. Sometimes I’m reapplying lotion 3-4 times a day just to keep it manageable. With almond oil, it soaks right into my skin. I use it right out of the shower and it has a nice and pleasant scent. I can go through a workday, sit through traffic in the hot sun and still manage to feel soft and silky. This oil won’t dry out even if I’m in the heat or in my freezing cold work office. There’s so many uses for almond oil, it’s really amazing. You can also add some lavender of chamomile essential oils to it, to give you a calming and moisturizing oil that’s wonderful for the skin and relaxing! Also, it’s good for your hair. Almond oil is very light in texture and won’t leave your hair feeling greasy or bogged down. It will give your hair some excellent shine and bounce! This is a wonderful high quality natural product and I think anybody could benefit from it!

I absolutely love sweet almond oil for anything for my face I use this in my homemade moisturizers as well as wrinkle cream and other homemade products. This is a nice clear oil. It is oily but not overly so.

My first order of this item was lost, but I reported to Lux and they replaced one. I am absolute lucky about this Oil because it works wonder to my hair and to my scaly skin in my legs. Before this, I was using coconut oil and the result was kind of similar to this Sweet Almond Oil. My hair is so shiny and clearing up my scales in my legs. I smelled a lil of scent on this one, but its not so bad as the coconut oil that I used before. I’m not shame to use this when out of my house at all. My hair feels so smooth and my scaly legs gets better now when I applied this oil. I use this for my 4 year old daughter’s hair as well and so far no sensitivity signs on her skin. I loved it!

This is a great mixing/carrier oil. I make a lot of my own body products so that I can avoid artificial fragrances and treat a skin condition that I have. So I use a pretty wide variety of natural oils and butters. This particular oil was smooth, scent free, and a rich straw color, just what I would have expected. Sweet almond oil is great in everything, from lip balm to lotion bars. It’s also a great carrier for essential oils.
I have little roller bottles, and to treat migraines I mix up peppermint essential oil (10 drops or so) with this sweet almond oil as a carrier oil. Roll it on your forehead and it’s like magic. Especially for the nausea.

I am in love with this Lux skin oils. I couldn’t let a day past without applying this oil on my skin. I will definitely gonna stick with this product and use it for the rest of my life. Lol. Since I moved here in the US, I started to have skin problems, and I guess the weather here makes my skin very dry. I started to have a lot of breakouts and it doesn’t get heal faster. I also had terrible back acne. I already tried different products for acne, I have tried creams and even take homeophatic acne tablet and trying to fix the problem within my system but it seems nothing has worked. My friend suggested me that I should start using skin oils with Coconut oil or Almond oil. I was glad that I found this Lux Skin oil in here. I got this at a discounted price. It came in the mail very quick and I like that it was placed in a very nice and simple white canister and inside is a nice clear pump dispenser. I also like that I can see what is inside the bottle and and how much is the remaining content. I use this oil everyday, I apply it on my skin right after I take a shower and at night. This oil moisturizes my skin the entire day. I definitely noticed great results on my skin. It helped diminish my dry flaky skin mostly on my back. It prevents my from drying and it leaves my skin smooth. I don’t see new acne coming out on my back, and the existing ones has dried up and disappear. It is also perfect to apply on my skin after I exfoliate. I can feel that my skin really absorbed the oil but it doesn’t make me feel uncomfortable and or leave my skin greasy. The best thing about this skin oil is the stuff that in it, it doesn’t contain any chemical and it’s made from 100% cold pressed sweet almond oil, I cannot usually find this from any skincare product that are being sold in the market, Almond oil could maybe only 10% of its ingredients but not 100%, so with this product I can guarantee that I could get the maximum nutrient of Almond oil and plus its organic and it doesn’t have scent which I love. I have been using this skin oil for weeks now and used almost half of it. I will definitely going to buy a new one and I don’t make paying its regular price.

This 100% Pure Organic Sweet Almond Oil by Lux comes in a protective tube that I truly am going to repurpose because it is nice. The almond oil is in a handsome plastic bottle that you can proudly display wherever you will use it most. I keep mine by my computer where I often am so I can moisturize my skin whenever I feel a bit dry. I use it on my hands, face, elbows and feet to great results. Afterwards they feel moisturized and renewed– but not oily. I do not like the oiliness of some products I have tried in the past.
I am also using the Lux Organic Sweet Almond Oil as a carrier oil with my essential oils. The scent of the oil is so faint that it is perfect as a base so that the scents of the essential oils really shine through for aromatherapy and other uses. I enjoy the almond better than others I have tried for its subtlety and its light quality. I recently experienced rather bad muscle pain [7/10 on pain scale] near the small of my back, so I added some peppermint oil to a 4 oz. essential oil mister bottle filled with the sweet almond oil and applied it liberally to the area. At first it seemed just to take the edge off of the pain, but fairly quickly the pain was gone and I was able to sleep.
It makes me feel great that I can put organic and natural products on to address any issues rather than slathering some store-bought concoction of chemicals onto my body. I try to get organic whenever possible, so I jumped at the chance to get this product.

I was admittedly skeptical about how well this product might work, but I was willing to try just about anything to work with both dry skin & psoriasis. The sweet almond oil is wonderful!! It soothes the skin affected by the psoriasis & has helped balance the moisture in dry skin areas, leaving skin incredibly soft.
